Water Tankers
We have 10,000 and 16,500L water tankers available. Fitted with two rear mounted pumps and spray bars, all of which can be used while the vehicle is on the move!
This allows us to carry out large wetdowns for camera or fire safety, quickly and effectively. Our tankers can also provide large quantities of water for rain sequences or Fire cover in remote locations should mains water be not suitable or available.
Fire Appliances And Firefighters
It goes without saying that where there are Special effects flames or pyrotechnics, there should be fire cover. We have worked closely with SFX for many years and understand exactly what's required to support them. It can be as little as a single firefighter with extinguishers, 4x4 with 400L high pressure firefighting system or full size fire appliances with extensive equipment and multiple crew. Whatever the need we have it covered.
Hot Water Unit
Our hot water unit was designed and built with SFX in mind, it is fitted with 450Kw of diesel boilers, capable of filling our tankers or other storage units at pace with warm or hot water depending on the requirements. The temperature can be adjusted to cater for any need. Whether it be a tanker of warm water brought to location or the whole unit used on location to heat large quantities of water, we have the solution!
Portable Pumps
Moving large quantities of water is something SFX do on a regular basis and we have the equipment and knowledge to support it. Our range of pumps is huge and can pump anywhere from 150 to 5,000 litres per minute. From small electric puddle pumps, fuel injection petrol pumps right up to large diesel pumps, if water needs moving we will get it flowing.
Thermal Imaging Capability
Thermal imaging cameras (TIC) are a must on any set or location where SFX flames or Pyrotechnics are being used. We will always have a Thermal Imaging camera available when supplying fire cover. Our TICs can be used to determine when a set or location being used is cool enough for the crew to go home! We can take pictures and record infrared temperature readings on wrap to be absolutely sure, that any location or set is safe!
